Port solent is lovely, great restaurants, little shops, cinema and relaxing environment.
Nice place to walk round on a sunny day and browse the shops and eating places
Boatyard services not cheap but excellent. They have lifted,moved and stored my boats for years. Always very careful. Once on site the facilities, access to parts and specialist help are excellent. Recently lifted out for a 7 day “Pitstop” to refurbish the bottom of our boat. Staff great and great care taken at every stage as usual.
This is a lovely marina, facilities for showering are good and there are plenty of bars / restaurants within easy walking distance from the marina. It would be useful to have a store within walking distance, but there is a large Tesco within a 5 minute drive.
Great place for family weekend. Lots of restaurants options, playground, cinema and a castle to visit. Not good for shopping though but Gunworth shops is fantastic and not too far.
