Stayed at Premier Gosport Very good finger berth, quiet .Toilets & showers were at the the usual high standard very clean. Staff most helpful.
Part of the Premier Marinas group. Good (quick) access to the Solent. Big car park, costs money for non birth holders tho. Good boat yard and lift. Dry stack for motor boats. Might even see Robin Knox-Johnston walking around if you're lucky as the Clipper boats are based here.
I don’t write many reviews, but this marina absolutely stands out. The facilities are immaculate and kept that way by the cleaning team — I believe Elijah and another gentleman whose name I unfortunately can’t remember. The toilets genuinely look brand new, and the other buildings are equally well-maintained and very pleasant to use. From the moment I arrived as a solo sailor, still unfamiliar with my boat at the time, the support was outstanding. I called ahead to ask if someone could take my lines, and Richard, the marina manager, came out personally to meet me. He was incredibly welcoming and gave me lots of useful, practical tips, which I really appreciated. Getting the original booking sorted was handled by Jamie, who has been fantastic — not just during the booking process, but ever since. Being able to go to him for second opinions and ideas has been a real breath of fresh air. Jack, the berthing master, has also been extremely helpful; he’s even offered to let me practise coming alongside in a double berth opposite me, keeping an eye on things, which is incredibly reassuring. George deserves a special mention for his genuinely genius recommendation of the AOP fish and chip package — even though I’m not AOP yet. He’s absolutely right: the portion size is perfect and about half the price of the large one. Happy days. I was also helped by a lady named Alison (I hope I’ve got that right), who gave me a hose fitting so I could work out exactly the right pipe size. Even John — the most senior person there (apologies if I’ve got his name wrong) — took the time to come out of his office to say hello, meet me properly, and ask about my story, which really says a lot. Overall, this has been a fantastic five or six days, and I’m really looking forward to spending the next two months alongside here. Brilliant staff, brilliant people, and brilliant facilities. It’s also excellent value in winter — I’m paying around £15 per night for flexible winter berthing, which I think is extremely good value. I’d absolutely recommend this marina to others, and I’ll definitely be staying here again.
The building site is a bit noisy during the day but the marina is nice and peaceful in the evening, easy to navigate with wide channels, plenty of depth and the Boat house Caffe bar is lovely,👍🍺
Had coffee at the Boathouse. Ignore the Facebook page, which says permanently closed. That's the old restaurant page. Had a lovely coffee with really nice staff and were lucky enough to sit outside in the sun. Coffee could have been hotter, b but I would just ask for extra hot next time.
