Very helpful owners, we have just moored our boat here and are very happy with the response to all our queries and service provided. We look forward to a long and happy relationship with this boatyard.
This place is a mistake. I bought a boat that was docked in the Lauren Marine and had a forestay down. I asked the marina to put it on again FOR A YEAR. For 6 months - they claimed they didn't have time (so I couldn't sail). After 6 months - they asked me to pay an invoice and stated that they installed a forestay. When I arrived 3 months later, it turned out that they were lying (!). When I asked why they lied me, took my money and didn't complete the task for 3 months, they said that I can take my boat and do it elsewhere. I wonder how? After 3 months of arguing and paying for obligatory "mooring" (very clever thieves), I sold the boat. I DON'T RECOMMEND.
This is a fantastic and cost effective marina. A friend has a boat in here so i visit quite regular. The owners and others that are in the marina/yard are all very friendly and if you need a hand there are plenty of will and able hands around. Very friendly place Would highly recommend a mooring here. some of the moorings are dry at low tide but you are always allowed to plan ahead and use the hammerhead which is wet and deep-enough 95% of the time.
We kept our boat ashore at Lauren Marine over the winter and spent quite a lot of time at the yard working on her. Danny and Angela were always friendly and helpful with Danny happy to give advice on the best way to tackle the work. I appreciated benefitting from his years of experience.
Great place to keep your boat/yacht. Friendly and reasonable rates. I believe other services are available as well, e.g. repairs, sail repairs etc.
