Kingston Boatyard, Cowes Harbour Services

Bought a boat from the boat yard but what they didnt tell me is that the engine doesn’t start. Not just that but they refused to tell me important information about the boat. My disabled father haa been working on this boat and then suddenly they move the boat to a different spot out of reach so not only can we not work on it but we still have to pay £200 per month for it to be somewhere we cant reach. I don’t recommend this boat yard they out us in a difficult position especially now as the boat wont sell. So we cant get rid of the boat they lied to us about.

A yard which I have used in the past but sadly never again. My 11m boat was taken to their holding berth approximately 1 hour later than the previously booked time and date. Because of this the yard said they were too busy to lift it and after 3 days my boat was still on the holding pontoon with the yard saying they could not guarantee a lift out or even if they managed it a launch date. An unsubtle way of telling me to go away. I took the boat away after a day of travelling to get there and I'll never return. Truly shocking service.

Good lift and scrub package, used them twice and very helpful, take care in their work, and good value compared with some alternatives.

We've delivered and collected a number of boats from Kingston and recommend them. A good range of services and helpful staff, well located in the Isle of Wight and Solent area.

Disappointing not very helpful wanted a mooring. Was told to send email or would have to pay to enquire about a mooring did this then was told I wouldn't be told about a mooring without paying .. even if theres none.. not helpful at all
