About
Fareham Marina is based at the top of Fareham Lake, about 5 miles from Portsmouth Harbour. It is a small drying marina set on the old town quay of Fareham, an historic market town.Suitable for boats between 26ft - 32ft. There are 5 moorings that can accommodate smaller boats up to 19ft.As the marina dries out it will not take fin keels and any vessel that will need to be able to sit on the hard. Access is 2 hours either side of the tide. This is a lovely little community in a picturesque spot, with free parking and within easy walking distance to the town centre. The marina itself is fairly sheltered, with a gated security access. There are no club facilities so only provides on shore water and electricity. However the marina is located next Fareham Sailing Club - that has club facilities such as toilets and a bar. The Castle In The Air public house is also located on the quayside. There is a public wall and slipway adjacent to the marina with 48 hours mooring available to all.

Went to Tides cafe. Great food, excellent service and a lovely venue. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend
We have berthed our boat at Fareham marina for 4 months initially thinking it would only be for the winter period. Its been so enjoyable having easy access during this time and are now planning to stay and enjoy the summer months. Thank you to Karen and Jason for being so Accommodating and welcoming. Andy & Julie
Found first time, the Salt Cafe, delightful, lovely snacks and views of the water including in the distance the Spinnaker Tower.
I used to work in Fareham and would always park at the marina. The view in the morning always made me feel like I wasn't going to work. Not that there's anything wrong about going to work, but I would always stop even if for a minute to just breathe.
Delightful area for a relaxing walk, benches along the footpath for a rest or just to sit and take in the scenery.
