Ashridge Farm Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Very nice quiet site with a wonderful open grass area with room for around 8 vans opposite the reception office, just like camping used to be before all the hard standing came in. Some reviews say the facilities are a bit dated, I found they were full of character and very well cared for as was the whole site. I was amazed to find there was only two wardens. Although the site is small it must be very hard work for two people to keep it this good. If bonuses are available they deserve one. Ten minute walk into Ashwell village with a few shops including a butcher a cafe and three pubs. I highly recommend this site.

Peaceful location and all very tidy and well maintained. Only just got to 4 stars for me, too many rules and notices about everything: not a relaxing place to stay.

Possibly one of the worst sites we have been too. Facilities very tired and scruffy, last upgraded in 2001, next due 2030 !. No hand wash available for 3 out of our 4 days and still none when we left. This is not acceptable. All reported to site wardens, area manager and CAMC head office. Needless to say will NOT be on our return list. Shame as its a great location.

Possibly in my top 5 Caravan and Motorhome Club Sites. Some would argue it was dated, but facilities were exceptionally clean and showers were probably some of the best we’ve experienced!!!

This Is a lovely campsite. We stayed for a weekend and the team were really welcoming. There are lovely walks in the area and there are also 3 lovely pubs close by in the pretty village of Ashwell. Definitely will be going again.
