Alton Caravan Storage

Very convenient secure storage, and flexi access made it doubly handy. Have to ensure your vehicle's roof (at least) is covered for better visual integration of local environment. Broken tarmac hard standing was a little like a lava field but great to be mud-free!.

I had a bit of an upsetting issue with them about a year ago, I was very upset, lady in office was unprepared to help resolve, money taken from me when I hadn't been put my motorhome in there, I'd requested a booking space & date but it hadn't been made clear to me when it would start, definitely & that they'd take from my credit card that I'd given as security, it was a lot of money for nothing, seeing as I wasn't using them ... but thankfully to the manager, a man in charge there, did everything he could to put matters right but only after I'd left an appalling review, he refunded me my money on the proviso I deleted the review so I shouldn't write this really because he did resolve the matter to my satisfaction although it was very aggravating and stressful at the time. I'm just looking for storage again for this winter & Alton storage came up a in searches & I'm reading the few not very good reviews & realise that this is run by the same company, Alton Storage is Brant storage who have other branches. Just a heads up to others but I sure hope they're ok., I'm opting for another local one this time that seems much better

I've said this before, DIDN'T go there, we go to the DEPARTURE LOUNGE, The adjoining property once per month for a Smart car breakfast meet, now that is worth 10 stars for friendliness, service and brilliant food.

Avoid this storage site. This site is not secure. It states that the gate is always shut, however on 3 occasions I arrived and the gate was open. Brant storage said that due to a work yard beyond the caravan storage the gate was left open. The only review is from the owner and states hard standing. There is no hard standing. Your caravan will be stored on a field with knee height grass, when wet the field is not easy to manoeuvre a caravan. For £25 per week this is a complete rip off. You also pay £100 deposit for any damage to the ‘storage unit’ Brant self storage obviously discovered people needed caravan storage and hastily opened a field and just gave out the generic contract that applies to the self storage units. When I questioned this I was told the caravan contract was not ready, also not ready was the key code gate entry. However they still quite happily charge full price. My advice is go to a cassoa registered site that will charge you half the price but give you a secure snd we’ll maintained and managed site.
